To the immense pleasure of the Bentley fans, the brand today issued a press release, detailing all the specs of its flagship luxury sedan, the 2011 Mulsanne. And it’s a big car powered by a 6.75-liter V8 engine producing mammoth 505hp with 752 pound-feet of torque which comes at just 1,800 rpm.
There is a rear driver and shifts are handled by a paddle-shifted eight-speed automatic. And this is what helps the Mulsanne spring from 0 to 60 in 5.1 seconds, to 100 in 11.6, and on to a top end of 184 miles per hour.
It also flaunts an all-new chassis and a range of driving dynamics settings for its air suspension system. As we already said it’s a big car with its dimension at 219 inches long 75.8 inches wide, 60 inches tall and weighs 5,700 pounds. And its fuel economy is rated at 16.7 mpg on the combined EU cycle.
And not to the surprise of the many, Mulsanne has the highest-tech audio and entertainment systems available. With a 14-speaker audio system standard or an upgraded Naim unit rated at 2,200 watts with 20 custom-made speakers and eight dedicated DSP modes, the vehicle gives you a unique driving experience.
