There might be millions of people who love everything related to Titanic. But we’ve rally one worth mentioning: Henschel. This man from Russia is a ship enthusiast who has spent more than two and half years on a 1:200 scale model of the RMS Titanic, made mainly out of paper.

In order to make this astonishing Titanic of paper, Henschel studied the blueprints of the iconic ship from books and online and used punch cards exclusively to give the iconic ship a paper form.

With the cardinal effort focused at ship functionality, other material used include drawing paper, yarn, fishing line and wire and the paper parts are covered with waterproof varnish, to give the paper ship immunity against water.

This Titanic is illuminated with small light bulbs and LEDs powered by a 6-volt battery which is located below deck. Titanic’s steering wheel and screw propellers can be remote controlled. Its windows and portholes are covered by varnish tape in the soap-bubbles style.

Jackstays and other similar ropes were made from threads and sometimes from fishing lines and wire. The making of this Titanic cost approximately $125 and this ship has 16 compartments and 11 decks with faucets, boats and anchors are operating.
