A picture is worth a thousand words, and this saying rhymes no better than one attached above. Yes, the vehicle in flames is Tata Nano which is making hullabaloo in India. Three vehicles reported to burst into fire in Ahmedabad, Lucknow and Delhi in 2009 alone and this one is the most recent.
The world’s most cost effective car is bursting into fire for the reasons unknown. The vehicles in 2009 were reported to have seen smoke and flames coming out of its rear engine that were later discovered were due to an electrical glitch.
This time it’s still to come out whether it’s the same case or there are some other anomalies that world’s cheapest car is facing. Either way, the brand’s repute is in question and it remains to be seen what Tata does to get rid of scorching problem in its hands.
