Ferrari is a brand that people love to watch and die for a ride. The luxury brand may be for rich a few but has its fans ranging from a layman to a billionaire. Well, here we have complied a list of Ferrari concepts – futuristic or otherwise, from Ferrari itself or from designers – that are awesome as usual, but never went into the production.
V4 Superbike
Designer: Amir Glinik, Israel
The concept: V4 Superbike has a modified Vintage V12 Enzo engine, hand controls from an F-16 fighter, jet buttons from a F1 race car, adjustable ride-height suspension, dampening control and an all weather LCD panel.
Flying Ferrari X-Racer
Designer: Vincent Montreuil
The concept: Vincent Montreuil envisions race tracks in the air 50 years from now and Flying Ferrari is basically an upgrade from the current F1 cars. Flying Ferrari X-Racer concept has 2 turbostator engines with Xtrem FireForce and can move at Mach 2, which is 1522 mph. This concept measures 8 meters in length, 12m in width and 1.56m in height.
Ferrari Monza Concept
Designer: Iman Maghsoudi
The concept: Styling cues for the concept has been borrowed from the Ferrari Enzo. Monza is built for speed but smart enough to drive itself and is designed to keep in mind the future wherein driving cars will be akin to operating a PC. Computers will take over once the driver exceeds a specified speed limit. The vehicle changes shape resembling an airfoil for maximum aerodynamics.
Ferrari Zobin
Designer: Siamak Ruhi Dehkord, Iran
The concept: The concept, inspired from the Ferrari F-1 cars is a single-seat aerodynamic sports car. Zobin concept is 4,114mm long and 1,855mm wide and is equipped with an ultra-efficient, mid positioned high performance engine that enables it to race 200mph.
2008 Ferrari F250 Concept
Designer: Idries Omar
The concept: The F250 is so far a computer model and has been designed as a lightweight, entry level Ferrari. Its name is derived from the Ferrari 250 GTO and is a rear wheel drive powered by a mid-mounted 2.5 liter V6 engine running on bio-fuel.
Ferrari FSX (Ferrari Sedan Xperiment)

The concept: The Ferrari FSX is a four-door sedan powered by a mid-mounted V12 engine. The vehicle is aimed at people who often love to go on road trips. Aside from the stunning styling which goes along way to hiding the four-door layout, the FSX features some design elements which are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Ferrari Dino concept

The concept: The 2007 Ferrari Dino looks similar to original one, named after Enzo Ferrari’s Son, is widely considered to be one of the prettiest Ferrari’s of all times. The two-seater ultra-lightweight Ferrari Dino has a mid-mounted V6 engine.

The concept: Ferrari concept 2008 is a proposal for a future replacement of the V8-powered F430 model. Serafini created the Ferrari Concept 2008 as a computer model and will be powered by a mid-mounted V8 engine, as in F430. Luca went through classic Ferrari models to come up with an original yet different from current ones, while also being instantly identifiable as a Ferrari.
Ferrari Imola Concept
Designer: John Mark Vicente
The concept: John’s Ferrari Imola concept is inspired by the Ferrari F70 created by Randy Rodriguez and the Dino Competizione by Sacha Selipanov. Imola is a spider without windscreen and has a future hybrid Ferrari V6 engine. The designer used triangular andand trapezoidal shapes to create the head and tail lights and the grille.
