Jeremy Dean, a New York born artist, got an inspiration from Hoover Carts of Great Depression era and is hacking a hummer H2 into a horse cart. He think of it one year back and recently started working on his project. He bought a used H2 for $15,000 for this purpose and named his project as ‘Back to the Futurama’.

And this is not only out of Dean’s love for the Hoover Carts but also shows his worries about drying resources of oil and gas. Quoted below are some lines from his blog, showing his concerns. Checkout the more images and video after the jump.

At this time of record financial gains, the auto industry began producing ever extravagant cars and SUVs. These huge American gas guzzlers became a status symbol in society leading to increased demand for oil and fuel prices soared.

“My own satirical prediction of the future: Unless we come up with alternative fuel sources and rethink our reliance on a hyperinflated consumer based economy, we may be left with no other options than to hook our cars up to a horse.

After Ferrari came up with its brand new F10 car for Formula One this week, McLaren is next to follow the suit when reveled MP4-25 yesterday. Unveiled at Vodafone UK’s stunning headquarters in Newbury, the new MP4-25 car differs considerably from last year’s race-winning MP4-24.

MP4-25 which is a radical aerodynamic overhaul over last year’s car, flaunts considerably big fuel tank to exploit last year’s new regulations, requiring a smaller rear wing and a larger front wing. The new version is longer than its predecessor and has a double-diffuser design. More images after the jump.

MP4-25s horse powers come from Mercedes-Benz that continues to supply the team with its powertrain. The MP4-25 uses a 2.4-liter V-8, which revs to 18,000 rpm and puts its astonishing power down through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

McLaren’s new vehicle is made from a carbon fiber composite monocoque, and its starting weight is 1364 pounds, which is 30 pounds more than MP4-24. And there are expectations that McLaren MP4-25 will make its on track debut next week on February 3

Designed by Cikaric Dragan, this Air Alien Green Helicopter concept is powered by an electric motor and comprises a stator with two large electromagnetic rings. Its two giant fuel tanks filled with hydrogen and oxygen generate electricity for the electric motor.

The helicopter has two propellers with permanent magnetic rings rotating separately against each other. It’s a zero emission helicopter with magnetic levitation properties that produce very little noise, making it an ideal safari. Checkout more images after the jump.

The whole operation of the helicopter is controlled by a computer. The helicopter has a four feet structure that has a duel role – works as leg flaps when helicopter is lifted above the ground and landing gears when it lends.

Additionally, the angle of the legs is also a key factor for generating speed and to turn helicopter in the desired direction. The whole helicopter will be made from carbon fiber and that is going to play a major role in making this machine more efficient.

The billionaire head of Virgin Atlantic, Richard Branson, 59, after dominating the sky is now eyeing the deep sea water. Coming well up to his dream at the right time with unique creation, Richard has revealed his latest Virgin vehicle – an underwater plane named as Necker Nymph.

Underwater plane, submarine, call it whatever you want to, but this Necker Nymph has fighter jet technology and is piloted with a joystick. This vehicle for three can reach the depth of 130 feet; however, Branson intends to later develop a craft that can sink to depths of 35,000ft.

This underwater aircraft with Carbon fiber wings will be available to hire for $25,000 a week, but you need to shell out a minimum of $88,000 for seven nights on the luxury catamaran, the Necker Belle.

Styling and tuning of a bike is not too unique all the time. But the case is different here. Just see the bike above and I bet you just couldn’t make it out even after many close looks as to which this one came from. Made in classic Asian style with the thought ‘let’s mix every thing’, one my call it stupid or stylish tuning, but either way its great.

It’s an Asian style with the metallic pictures of dragons and fish along with fantasy big magic crystals, cyberpunk lights, transparent panels, a sci-fi note with caterpillars and like-rocket nose. Well, if you still couldn’t make it out, let me tell you its Vespa. But does it look like one? They killed Vespa (so to say) but like phoenix it originates from its own pyre in a new form.

It has been almost a century for Ford’s Model T to come into existence and revolutionize the transportation world, even when it tossed the safety concerns to the wind. In spite of that, the model still inspires the designers from all over the world. Hence, it once again struck in the mind of the Brazilian designer, Eduardo Oliveira, who comes up with a 21st Century Ford Model T that would be a family car or a kind of crossover, since T was a ‘workhorse’.

Eduardo’s model has more modern lighthouse, than the round ones of its predecessor, which is adjacent to the flashes that meets the T forming a grid. The vehicle which is designed to be around 4.2 meters or 165-inches in length has suicide-style rear doors and two exterior storage compartments located on either side of the bumper. Checkout more images after the jump.

Designing part in the new car that resembles to the previous one include: the wheel arches encompassing the wheels that are pushed out to the corners as well as the opposite angle of the lower part of the rear hatch that houses the spare tire. The 21st century Model T, as designer says, could be equipped with a four-cylinder gasoline engine or better yet, a hybrid drivetrain.

Its engine will be powered by a 2.4-liter V-8, has 7 gears and Brembo ventilated carbon-fiber disc brakes, is built from lightweight honeycomb carbon fiber structure, and barely tips the scales at 1364 pounds, even when fueled up and saddled with the weight of a driver. Not just a few, but almost all of us, in some form or the other have thought of possessing a car that’s reminiscing of our dreams. We, only dream, but some actually endeavor to make their dreams real.

Nurturing his passion for Legos and the American hot rods to perfection, Johannes Rojola of Finland (a fellow from the group of dreamers for real) has created detailed V8-powered muscle cars from 1970s in nothing but Legos.

Rojola’s method of figuring the car to be made and then doing it in his own vision is what’s fantasized me to the core. Rojola has a lot of philosophy behind his art, which you can read over at Jalopnik.

This object on the road may look like a sphere to many eyes, but surprisingly, it’s a car named Roller sphere. Designed by a Bulgarian, Krasimir Emilov Asenov, this vehicle will be operated by several small electrical engines, supported by an accumulator battery and solar energy system.

The vehicle is spherical and vertical position with left and right turning are based on gyroscopic system. Further, vehicle depends for its movements (left and right) on a joystick which will be connected to gyroscopic system. Check out more images after the jump.

The movement and the mechanism of this Roller sphere car will be based on a speed track system. Its tire can also be built from driving-belts which makes it possible to rotate around the vertical axis of the vehicle.

This vehicle for two has a strong safe cage, air bags and seat belts along with the shock absorbers in the down half of the vehicle for the safety and to make you journey trouble free.
