This real custom made hunk on the road is dubbed Softail Chopper and is built by Payne Erickson. As its name suggests, the chopper has a uniquely styled rear swingarm with adjustable air-spring suspension mounted behind the engine.

Softail Chopper is equipped with amazing 145 cubic inches of V-twin engine and power is transferred to the rear wheel via six speed Baker transmission. The transmission to the chopper’s rear wheel is done with a hand shifter than a foot one.

All the body work is performed by Erickson, however, the frame comes out after a joint effort between ‘Thee Darkside of Daytona’ and ‘Killer Choppers’ and Chopper’s Springer forks run at a steep rake of 68 degrees.

The Suicide softail has 21-inch front wheel from West Coast Choppers and its rear wheel is Chrome Smoothies, 18-inch. About its brakes, the chopper has Performance Machine, disc for the front and sprocket brake by Exile affixed to a solid, chromed rear wheel.
