BMW to debut Alpina B7 Biturbo Allrad at 2010 NYIAS

The hangover of Geneva Motor show is not over yet and there is another auto show round the corner - New York motor show. BMW to strike with bang and has already announced to come with BMW Alpina B7 Biturbo Allrad to NYIAS.


As the name is indicative, it’s an Alpina and will have an all-wheel drive system fitted with. In the standard model, however, Allard will be available in short and long wheelbases. And the vehicle will be equipped with different modes to select from: comfort, sport, and sport+ driving modes.



Alpina B7 Biturbo Allrad will get power from the 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 that churns out 500hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. It is capable to run from 0-100km/h in merely 4.7 seconds.


Other than offering maximum traction under acceleration, B7 Bi-Turbo exploits the technical potential of BMW’s xDrive System. The system continuously monitors the driving situation and continuously distributes torque between the front and rear axle within milliseconds.
