Don’t get surprised people; it’s a car, not a tram but as long as a double-decker bus. Made from scraped car parts, Nissan’s UK branch unveiled this all new heap of junk on 29th, 2010 as a part of British trade in Scheme.
The scrap car is constructed by the renowned sculptor Graham Wardale and comes out in its present form after 500 hours by a team of four. More than 2000 parts are used in this 36 foot long vehicle, but unfortunately you won’t see it gushing in the streets anytime soon as it doesn’t have an engine and is created as a sculpture only.
Nissan has offered the British Built Trade-in Scheme at a time when the Governments Scrappage Scheme draws to a close. As per the Nissan’s scheme, motorists can exchange any car over seven years old for a Nissan car built in Britain and can save a minimum of £2,000. The scheme will be valid from April 1st to June 30th 2010.
