After a quiet year of middling sales, Kia is hoping to inject some excitement into its K900 luxury yacht. First, Kia enlisted LeBron James as the K900′s "Luxury Ambassador. Now the company is building a hot-rod version for SEMA. Here's a short sneak peek at what's in store for the V-8 sedan under the hot lights of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Admittedly, there's not much to discern from the clip—maybe some kind of exhaust component being welded, a coat of imposing battleship gray being sprayed onto the bumpers (and apparently the camera), black 21-inch HRE wheels, etc. The K900 wears a custom body kit with carbon-fiber touches and nary a glint of chrome anywhere, and it looks as if there's an intercooler peering out from the lower front fascia. It looks like it could turn out to be pretty cool once we get the full lowdown—and, if anything, we now have some great ideas for our long-term K900.
