2016 Mercedes-Benz C350 Plug-In Hybrid Debuts, Coming This Fall

Hybrid technology is doing great—for Toyota. For European carmakers, not so much. The hybrid derivatives of German premium vehicles can hardly be called smashing successes. The BMW ActiveHybrid X6 was quickly yanked from the market, although the brand still does offer ActiveHybrid versions of its 3-series, 5-series, and 7-series. The Audi A6 hybrid—which never made it to the United States—sold a depressing 4000 units globally over its entire run. And what about Mercedes-Benz? At the moment, it has just the E400 Hybrid in America, but by 2017, the brand plans to launch 10 plug-in-hybrid models. One of the first will be the C350 you see here. READ MORE ››
