Everyone knows the Ferrari F40 is the megacar of a generation. The twin-turbo 2.9-liter V-8 out of the 288 GTO is a sonorous beast of an engine mounted midship in a car that took track times and low weight to new levels during the generally dismal 1980s.
Today's example has the extra added benefit of a Tubi exhaust, which amplifies the the engine's throttle overrun. Somehow, even the basic noises from unburnt gases hitting a hot exhaust sounds better in this car.
I could go on and on, but you probably could too. It's the freakin' F40. It sounds great. It spits flames. 'Nuff said.
Crank your volume and enjoy the result of two well-mounted GoPros strapped to the king of all things '80s.
