"Will there be a wagon version of the new Cadillac CTS?"
Toronado455
Wagons are slowly fading into the sunset (along with bench seats and column-mounted shift levers). Instead, buyers continue to migrate to crossovers, essentially car-based wagons masquerading as SUVs. It's not that crossovers offer much greater utility, it's just that they have the SUV look buyers seem to crave. Fueling speculation that the CTS wagon and coupe might be dropped is that only the sedan has been redesigned for 2014 and sized to compete with the BMW 5 Series. The wagon and coupe will appear one more year under the older, smaller CTS design. Stay tuned. The CTS is sold in other markets, including Europe, where wagons are more popular. Cadillac spokesman David Caldwell acknowledged that wagons don't have many followers in the U.S., but he added, "We have had good experience with the CTS wagon." So it's not dead yet.
