The snowmobile chopper you see above is Bob Sawicki and Toby Weisser’s collective effort and is built out of all the junk and discards found at the station. Its engine and track are from a totaled 1981 Ski Doo. Chopper’s two fire tanks – one for fuel and other for the compressed air refurbished air horn – are old fire extinguishers. It runs, as Bob and Toby say, 30 to 35mph on the snow. It took 120 work hours to assemble it and they only need to invest as little as $10 in parts.
