After Ferrari came up with its brand new F10 car for Formula One this week, McLaren is next to follow the suit when reveled MP4-25 yesterday. Unveiled at Vodafone UK’s stunning headquarters in Newbury, the new MP4-25 car differs considerably from last year’s race-winning MP4-24.

MP4-25 which is a radical aerodynamic overhaul over last year’s car, flaunts considerably big fuel tank to exploit last year’s new regulations, requiring a smaller rear wing and a larger front wing. The new version is longer than its predecessor and has a double-diffuser design. More images after the jump.

MP4-25s horse powers come from Mercedes-Benz that continues to supply the team with its powertrain. The MP4-25 uses a 2.4-liter V-8, which revs to 18,000 rpm and puts its astonishing power down through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

McLaren’s new vehicle is made from a carbon fiber composite monocoque, and its starting weight is 1364 pounds, which is 30 pounds more than MP4-24. And there are expectations that McLaren MP4-25 will make its on track debut next week on February 3
