It has been almost a century for Ford’s Model T to come into existence and revolutionize the transportation world, even when it tossed the safety concerns to the wind. In spite of that, the model still inspires the designers from all over the world. Hence, it once again struck in the mind of the Brazilian designer, Eduardo Oliveira, who comes up with a 21st Century Ford Model T that would be a family car or a kind of crossover, since T was a ‘workhorse’.
Eduardo’s model has more modern lighthouse, than the round ones of its predecessor, which is adjacent to the flashes that meets the T forming a grid. The vehicle which is designed to be around 4.2 meters or 165-inches in length has suicide-style rear doors and two exterior storage compartments located on either side of the bumper. Designing part in the new car that resembles to the previous one include: the wheel arches encompassing the wheels that are pushed out to the corners as well as the opposite angle of the lower part of the rear hatch that houses the spare tire. The 21st century Model T, as designer says, could be equipped with a four-cylinder gasoline engine or better yet, a hybrid drivetrain.
