Audi has turned to graphics processor maker Nvidia to power its car’s dashboards in the future. The car maker has signed a deal to use the new Tegra 2 processor to make its in-car graphics, for both its GPS offering and basic menu systems, look spicier. The move is also intended to enrich the user experience while minimizing driver distractions. More images after the jump.
From this year onwards, Audi will be equipped with third generation multi media interface (MMI). The advanced technology will be capable of displaying Google Earth mappings and provide motorists faster, clearer, and specific information to navigate the destinations they’re on. Also, it gives motorists information through their vehicle system, helping them concentrate on the road in a better way.
