Recall Alert: 2013-14 Land Rover Range Rover

2013LandRoverRangeRover

Vehicles Affected: About 3,912 model-year 2013-14 Land Rover Range Rover SUVs

The Problem: Due to insufficient clearance, the supplemental restraint system connector, located in the driver and front passenger side seats, may become disconnected. This could cause the driver and passenger seat side airbags to malfunction, increasing the risk of injury in a crash necessitating airbag deployment.

The Fix: Land Rover will begin notifying owners Jan. 17 and dealers will modify the area around the connector to prevent it from becoming disconnected, free of charge.

What Owners Should Do: Owners can call Land Rover at 800-637-6837, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or go to www.safercar.gov for more info.
