Could it be? Could Subaru's redesigned 2015 Legacy sedan possibly bring back some of the 2005–2009 model's prettiness and eschew the, uh, weirdness of every other generation of the sedan? Based on the teaser photo of the car's profile, that might just be the case. Why the teaser now? Because Subaru's planning to debut the car, which was last redesigned for 2010, at the 2014 Chicago auto show just in time for the nameplate's 25th anniversary.
- First Drive: 2015 Subaru WRX Sedan
- Instrumented Test: 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek 2.0i
- Comparison Test: 2014 Subaru Forester vs. Mazda CX-5, Toyota RAV4
Subaru hasn't revealed anything else about the car, other than this photo and the hint that the car's styling took inspiration from the 2013 L.A. auto show's hot Legacy concept. Indeed, the 2015 Legacy wears a swoopy greenhouse, more-elegant headlights and taillights, and generally appears more cohesive than today's slightly disjointed Legacy. We'll bring you more from the Chicago show next week.
