The relationship between BMW and boutique tuner Alpina has been a special one for decades. Alpina, created by enthusiast Burkard Bovensiepen, acquired an excellent reputation for its tuning prowess and race cars in the 1970s. Nowadays, Alpinas enjoy BMW's full warranty, and the cordial ties remain intact even after BMW launched the M GmbH division.
