The Telegraph is reporting that following another cranial procedure, doctors treating former F1 world champion Michael Schumacher have noted a slight improvement in his condition. Schumacher is in critical condition after a skiing accident Sunday; Monday he had brain surgery and was put into a medically induced coma.
In another press conference, doctors said that Schumacher is showing some signs of improvement, at least based on his most recent brain scans. Last night the team performed its second surgery on the F1 driver's head to relieve inter-cranial pressure. Still, despite the slightly upbeat outlook, doctors are quick to point out that Schumacher isn't in the clear yet, adding "the situation is better controlled than it was yesterday."

Moving forward, the team plans to administer neurological examinations to get an idea of Schumacher's condition if or when he is brought out of his coma. As for right now, doctors say they "still have some other problems, some other treatments that have to remain." We'll bring you the latest news as it becomes available, but we're happy to hear Schumacher's condition hasn't worsened.
