From this week's News That Probably Doesn't Affect You But Is Still Kind Of Cool corner comes a minor announcement from Ferrari regarding the four-seat FF grand tourer. At last week's Paris auto show, the Italian sports car–maker revealed that it is giving the FF an optional panoramic sunroof for 2013.
The single pane of glass stretches over nearly the entire cabin. Only the windshield header and a crossmember behind the rear seats break up what otherwise would be a continuous sea of glass from the base of the windshield all the way back to the rear spoiler. (Ferrari blacks out the header and rear crossmember so that, from the outside, the effect is one of a single stretch of glass from front to back.) Ferrari didn't furnish any pricing information for the giant glass roof, but seeing as the FF starts at $298,750, chances are it'll cost more than your typical compact car.
