Having already told you about the 15 things we learned on the 918 Spyder factory tour, we now have an in-depth video look at the facility where highly precise technicians use highly precise tools to assemble the highly precise hybrid hypercar. (Those recalled axle fasteners are clearly the exception, not the rule, right?)
There's absolutely no doubt that the car is special: It's capable of a 2.2-second 0-to-60-mph run and a 9.8-second flat quarter mile at 145 mph. Now these moving pictures provide further proof that the bright, clean, and futuristic 918 facility is special, too, as it should be given that the car amounts to a roadgoing Le Mans prototype.

While the Spyder is essentially sold out, the line will operate through mid-2015 to crank out the final examples of the 918-unit run.
