National Corvette Museum: You Wanna See Some Damaged Corvettes? We Got Some Damaged Corvettes

National Corvette Museum disaster

Anyone got a placard and a little stand?

So remember that time a sinkhole opened up underneath a portion of the National Corvette Museum? Of course you do, it happened just last month and we inundated you with photos and video of the incident. Well, guess what? The Vettes are still down in that hole, but the museum told the Detroit Free Press that it plans to display the damaged cars for a little while—once they're extracted from the sinkhole's depths.

Apparently, enough people are clamoring for the damage porn afforded by eight Corvettes in various states of destruction that the decision was a no-brainer for the museum. We can't say we aren't curious ourselves, so if you wanna see some beat-up fiberglass, the cars will be on display this spring and summer before heading to GM for restoration.
