Even though we'll be seeing official photos of Porsche's new Macan compact crossover at the 2013 L.A. auto show later this month, a peek at the brand's second SUV has been granted early. Autocar reports that the first images of a camouflage-free Macan have leaked onto the internet in the form of scans taken of an unnamed German magazine. Of course, not much about the Macan's appearance is a huge surprise—as we have surmised from spy photos and Porsche's own teaser shots of prototypes—as it essentially looks like a scaled-down Cayenne, although we must admit it hides its Audi Q5 bones extremely well.

The crossover is expected to arrive with two available engines: a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 for the S model, and a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V-6 for the Macan Turbo. We'll bring you full details as soon as they become available, probably closer to the Los Angeles show, but for now you can check out the full array of Macan photos at Autocar.
