For those who admire the ATS but wondered what it might look like with just two doors, you are in luck: Cadillac will debut the ATS Coupe in Detroit at the 2014 North American International Auto Show.
When the ATS Coupe turns up in showrooms later in the next year, expect to have the same engine options found in the sedan for your choosing: 2.5-liter four-pot standard, 3.6-liter V6, or a 2-liter turbo-four. Driving the power to the back will most likely be a standard six-speed automatic with an optional six-speed manual. An ATS-V may come into the fold, as well.
The expanding ATS line is designed to take on the BMW 3 and 4 Series, the Audi A4, and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and may also end up holding the only coupe in Cadillac's collection should the automaker phase out the CTS Coupe; the coupe and wagon variants of the CTS are carryovers from the 2013 model year.
