But who could say no to more? Ford just released a new video highlighting the combustion chamber music from this mighty Mustang, to remind those of us who may have forgotten: That 5.2-liter flat-crank V-8 sounds vicious.

Notice something else in that video? The tachometer close-up confirms the 8250-rpm redline we'd heard mentioned before. This engine is an all-out screamer. It's no wonder why supercar companies like Ferrari prefer the flat-plane crank for their V-8s. With "more than 500 horsepower" coming from that mighty music-maker, we're estimating that the GT350 will be wickedly quick—our guess is less than four seconds to 60 and a quarter-mile time breathing on 12 seconds flat. Considering that internet leaks put the base price right at $50,000, that's a lot of performance, and hair-raising sound, for your buck.
