-The big news last year, of course, was that Ford had moved its juggernaut F-150 from a conventional steel structure to an aluminum one. For 2016, the madness has calmed down quite a bit. We've already noted that Ford will be replacing the super-janky MyFordTouch infotainment system with Sync 3, and we've covered Ford's nifty Pro Trailer Backup Assist. So what's left? Gas—as in propane or compressed natural gas? Check out the CNG/propane option here, fleet managers.
-Of interest to the teeming masses looking for a pickup with visual pizazz, Ford's offering Special Edition packages for the XLT and Lariat trim levels. Included are 20-inch dark alloy wheels with red "SPORT" lettering, black running boards, tough-guy smoked headlamps, Alcantara seat inserts, and red interior stitching.

Those who opt for the Special Edition trucks also get a dark anodized grille with black mesh on the XLT, while Lariat customers get flashy horizontal red grille accents. It's all topped off with beefy black stripes trimmed with red. We expect that off-duty officers of Royal Canadian Mounted Police will be quite pleased. Quite pleased indeed.
