Mercedes-Benz unveiled the first vehicle from the Mercedes-Maybach lineup, dubbed the S600. The ultra-exclusive, ultra-premium sedan receives power from a twin-turbo 6-liter V12, punching 523 horsepower and 612 lb-ft of torque to the back as it speeds the S600 from nil to 62 mph in five seconds, topping out at 155 mph.
Performance aside, the sedan offers CEOs and dictators alike more rear headroom and 6.3 inches of legroom due to its lengthened wheelbase. The power barons of the world can also enjoy an onboard bar with a pair of silver champagne flutes, reclining seats with calf supports, fold-out tables with leather inserts et al.
The first U.S.-bound Mercedes-Maybachs are expected in showrooms by April 2015 at the earliest.
