Grille-tastic Subaru Viziv GT Enters Vision Gran Turismo Fray

Subaru Viziv

The fascination with high-performance crossover hatches in the Vision Gran Turismo program continues with Subaru's Viziv GT. It's very much in the vein of the Mitsubishi XR-PHEV, a quasi Pikes Peak crossover sprouting enormous aero aids and fender flares. The Viziv GT is a little more restrained, from what we can see in the teaser video below.

A little, but not a lot. Huge triangular side-exit exhausts poke through some massive sills and enormous multi-spoke deep-dish wheels (which appear to be partially carbon-fiber) are barely contained by gargantuan fender flares. A two-piece rear spoiler rises off the rear deck like the tail of some robot whale. Somewhere underneath there is a reworked Viziv concept car—or at least, by calling it a Viziv that's what Subaru would like you to believe. It doesn't look much like the Viziv we saw in Tokyo, but that was vehicle that exists in three dimensions rather than as a PlayStation model.

The Viziv GT is, after all, just some polygons. Some really wild-looking polygons.
