Land Rover's newest SUV marks the debut of a new family of Discovery-branded vehicles, and the 2016 Discovery Sport should be a crowd-pleaser, borrowing some of its sleek and stylish good looks from its popular Evoque sibling. The Discovery Sport's clean-looking front end with two-bar grille and wraparound headlights, however, tie it to the larger Land Rover family. It's making its debut at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show.

Inside, there's standard seating for five passengers, but Land Rover calls the setup a "5+2" configuration with an optional two-seat third row in the cargo area. All models come standard with leather — lower trim levels get partial leather seats and higher trims get the full Windsor leather treatment, including a stitched leather dashboard and door panels.
