Chevrolet has finally put a rudimentary online configurator for the 2015 Corvette Z06 onto its website, and while it's hardly a full-blown "Build It Now" affair, it at least lets users play around with their dream Vette's basic look. Lacking basic pricing information or even an options list, Chevy's Z06 website does let you choose color, wheels, trim level, interior color and material scheme, and body style. And that's fine, because we already know how much the car and some of the extra gear will cost.
The visualizer also outlines the 650-hp Z06′s three available trim levels, dubbed 1LZ, 2LZ, and 3LZ. To recap, the base 1LZ trim comes standard with a nine-speaker Bose audio system, digital gauge cluster, color head-up display, eight-way power leather seats, seven-speed manual transmission, backup camera, keyless entry and push-button starting, Brembo brakes, HID headlamps, and Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, among many other bits. The 2LZ adds lumbar and side-bolster adjustment to the seats, as well as heating and ventilation, and a 1o-speaker Bose system, Sirius XM satellite radio, a universal garage-door opener, and auto-dimming mirrors. Finally, the 3LZ brings a full Nappa-leather wrap to the interior, faux suede upper trim, the Corvette's awesome Performance Data Recorder as standard (it's optional on lesser Z06s), and navigation.

Sadly, there's no way to visualize the Z06′s three available aerodynamics packages, nor the high-performance Z07 package, which brings carbon-ceramic brakes and the wildest aero bits. Hopefully a full configurator will go live soon, because we're getting antsy. Or maybe that's because we really, really, really want to just drive the new Z06.
