Vehicles Affected: Just 33 model-year 2014 Chevrolet Corvettes

The Problem: An internal short circuit in the sensing and diagnostic module could disable the frontal airbags, seat belt pretensioners and Automatic Occupancy Sensing module. GM said it is unaware of any crashes or injuries related to the condition.

The Fix: GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the sensing and diagnostic module for free. The automaker said owners will receive letters letting them know when they can take their vehicles to dealers for repair and transportation will be provided as needed. No notification schedule has yet been announced.

What Owners Should Do: Owners can call Chevrolet at 800-222-1020 for more info.
