When hot V-12s and machismo mix with (presumably) ruptured fuel systems, the result is probably going to be a burning Lamborghini.
While driving near the George Washington Bridge on the New Jersey Turnpike around 2 a.m. Monday, Deankarte Ditchfield-Agboh crashed his gray 632-hp supercar and fled the scene with an unidentified female passenger, leaving a fiery ball of aluminum and carbon fiber sitting on the expressway. No serious injuries were reported, nor was the involvement of any other vehicles. Ditchfield-Agboh is president of a used-car dealer that sometimes offers Lamborghinis, although it's unclear whether the car belonged to him or was part of the dealership's inventory.

Police charged Ditchfield-Agboh with leaving the scene of an accident and abandonment of a vehicle. These seem like raps on the knuckles considering the immediate jail time and vehicle-impounding many states levy on speeding drivers who don't crash, although no one knows if speed was a factor in this incident.
