2015 Chevrolet Tahoe Real-World Cargo Space

IMG_7602

Chevrolet didn't leave the cargo area untouched when it redesigned its large SUV for 2015. The Tahoe now features flat-folding second and third rows, replacing the 2014 model's third row that required removal for a similar configuration. Also newly available is a power folding option that folds both rows of seats with the press of a button.

The Tahoe takes a hit in overall cargo space, however, as available room shrinks from the 2014 model's 16.9 cubic feet behind the third row to 15.3 cubic feet, and the maximum 108.9 cubic feet in 2014 is now 94.7 cubic feet for 2015. Loading cargo into the Tahoe requires a big lift with a cargo floor that's about 3 feet off the ground — higher than the outgoing Tahoe. See how well an assortment of strollers, luggage and golf bags fit in the 2015 Tahoe, below.
