Cars in Snow: 2015 Chicago Blizzard Edition

One thing people seem to want more of are photos of cars covered in snow. As Chicago-based automotive journalists, we're not quite sure why this is so fascinating. Maybe it is the fact that we must uncover the cars in question that dilutes our own interest. We can't really be sure.

This weekend a winter storm — some called it a blizzard — hit our area delivering nearly 20 inches of snow, making it the fifth worst snowstorm in the city's history. It didn't seem that bad to some of us, but we had time to plow during the snowfall itself and before the big game — perhaps altering our perception.

Here's a gallery of some of the cars we encountered over the past few days and some still buried today. One editor wanted to show off how much snow had been cleared at a nearby parking lot with his SUV as a reference. How is it perfectly clean? That's what garages are for after all.
