It's St. Patrick's Day, and while we cannot gift you with beer or a parade, we can provide merriment in the form of this list of smokin'-hot green cars. We happen to think the color needs to be available on more models, but the number of manufacturers that offer the hue is actually fairly long. Here are our favorites:
1. Aston Martin V8 Vantage N430: Alloro Green
Being a British brand, Aston Martin of course offers its regular models with a choice of several green hues, but our favorite by far is the "Race" graphics package available on the limited-edition V8 Vantage N430. The Alloro Green over Clubsport Yellow scheme recalls Aston's Le Mans–winning DBR1 race car, and it looks fantastic.
2. Chevrolet Corvette Stingray: Lime Rock Green
We applaud Chevrolet for not only offering Corvette Stingray buyers the choice of gorgeous Lime Rock Green paint, but also for making it standard on the Stingray convertible Launch Edition. We prefer our Lime Rock Green C7 Corvette to be in coupe form, preferably with the brown interior, Z51 performance package, seven-speed manual transmission, and black wheels.
3. Ford Mustang Boss 302: Gotta Have It Green
Yes, we know, Ford stopped building the Boss 302, but the coolness of its eye-catching Gotta Have It Green paint option cannot be overlooked. Neither, of course, can the awesomeness of the Boss 302 itself. Ford, make sure the new-gen Boss 302—or Shelby GT350, or whatever you call it—version of the new-generation Mustang is as amazing. Please.
4. Jeep Grand Cherokee: Black Forest Green Pearl
Jeep's Grand Cherokee is a peach of an SUV, and its recent refresh lends it an extra dash of upscale style that's matched perfectly by the wonderful Black Forest Green Pearl paint option. The color plays especially nicely with the uplevel Grand Cherokee Limited and Overland models' chrome trim and big wheels, and makes for nice camouflage should you need to outrun someone through the woods.
5. Lamborghini Huracán: Verde Mantis
This is simple: The Huracán is super hot, and outlandish colors always seem to suit Lambos. So the 2015 Huracán decked out in Verde Mantis is close to Lamborghini perfection.
6. McLaren 650S Coupe: Mantis Green
In sharp contrast to the seemingly British-standard BRG, McLaren's 650S coupe gets a searing Mantis Green hue that's far from subtle. (It's also remarkably similar to the Lamborghini's similarly named color.) But that's okay, because even wearing a P1 hypercar–influenced snout, the 12C-based 650S still is a little anonymous-looking for a supercar, so bold colors assuredly will help owners stand out.
7. Mini Cooper / Cooper S Hardtop: British Racing Green II
Okay, we give up: Every British car looks good in British Racing Green. As an aside, it appears Mini found the second BRG. We have no idea where the first one is.
8. Land Rover Range Rover Evoque: Aintree Green
We're not sure what Aintree Green has to do with the Aintree circuit in the U.K., but it sure looks snappy on the Range Rover Evoque. The color is fairly unique, and it nicely augments the Evoque's chunky styling.

9. SRT Viper: Stryker Green
Leave it to SRT to name a color after something intimidating and serpentine: The Viper's slithery logo. Trust us, Stryker Green might look like it belongs on a garden snake, but with hairy-chested performance from a 640-hp V-10, Vipers are hardly tame.
10. Toyota Corolla: 4Evergreen Mica, a.k.a. the Biggest Waste of a Great Green
Standing in stark—and we mean stark—contrast to the Viper is the lowly Toyota Corolla, which actually offers one of the nicest green paints we've seen in a while. Too bad the Corolla itself is so boring.
