2014 Ford Fiesta ST Priced, So is the Rest of Fiesta Lineup

2014 Ford Fiesta ST

Ford's updated 2014 Fiesta subcompact hatch and sedan go on sale this spring, and in preparation the automaker quietly slipped pricing info for both online. The 2014 Fiesta's biggest changes are a face lift with Ford's fancy new corporate grille, a new three-cylinder EcoBoost engine option, more available content, as well as the addition of the sporty, turbocharged ST model. Pricing for regular Fiestas is up slightly across the board, and the new ST starts at $22,195; Ford has not yet detailed how much the turbocharged three-cylinder EcoBoost engine option will cost.

Because the 197-hp ST is far and away the coolest and freshest Fiesta iteration, we'll start by outlining its option sheet. On top of the $22,195 base price, buyers can layer on a $1995 Recaro package, which includes nicely bolstered and heated Recaro front sport seats and heated door mirrors; a $795 sunroof; $795 navigation functionality for the standard MyFord Touch infotainment system; and $375 gray-painted 17-inch aluminum wheels. As for the rest of the Fiesta lineup, the base S sedan's price rises by $800 to $14,795, with the S hatchback seeing a smaller increase of $400 to $15,395. Full pricing for S, SE, and Titanium models below:

Fiesta S: $14,795 (sedan), $15,395 (hatch) + $1095 for six-speed dual-clutch automatic; S comes standard with six-speaker audio with SYNC, air-conditioning, and power mirrors.

Fiesta SE: $16,245 (sedan), $16,845 (hatch) + $1095 for six-speed dual-clutch automatic; SE adds standard cruise control, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and 15-inch aluminum wheels

Fiesta Titanium: $18,995 (sedan), $19,595 (hatch) + $1095 for six-speed dual-clutch automatic; Titanium adds standard MyFord Touch, automatic climate control, backup camera, rear park sensors, 16-inch aluminum wheels, and heated mirrors

Fiesta ST: $22,295 (hatch-only, six-speed manual)

Even before this year's price increases, the Fiesta was one of the most expensive cars in its class. But as before, it also is among the best equipped, with heaps of options that many of its competitors don't offer. And the Fiesta ST essentially occupies a class of one—there are no go-faster versions of the five-door Mazda 2, Kia Rio5, Honda Fit, or Toyota Yaris. Chevy's new Sonic RS is little more than a suspension and appearance package, and the $22,700 Fiat 500 Abarth is down two doors and a bunch of horsepower on the ST.
