Aston Martin Announces U.S. Pricing for “Entry-Level” V8 Vantage

Aston Martin Vantage S
Referring to the Vantage as the "entry-level" Aston is a bit like calling a bottle of 1945 Château Mouton-Rothschild a good entry-level Bordeaux; both are well out of the financial reach of most, yet neither suffers from a shortage of willing buyers. Although most of the pertinent details were revealed earlier this year at Geneva, Aston Martin has revealed North American pricing for its V-8 Vantage lineup.

According to Aston Martin, the "entry-level" V-8 Vantage coupe will start out at $118,370; roadster pricing begins at $132,870. Those with the need for some well-heeled speed will need to scratch up $137,670 for the privilege of wheeling a Vantage S. All U.S. prices include destination and applicable gas-guzzler tax. Our friends to the north will need to shell out $124,289, $139,664 and $144,550, respectively.

Production of the V-12 Vantage continues unchanged, and will be joined later this year by the V-12 Zagato, which will take its position as the flagship of the range. Pricing has not yet been revealed for either model.
