You might be remembering GTA Spano, which was presented last spring in Valencia. However, vehicle is to debut on the opening day of the Top Marques Monaco 2010. Developed by the GTA Motors, Spano flaunts a glass roof with adjustable transparency, parking cameras and even remote trunk opening.
GTA Spano will be available in two versions and is powered by a V10 engine volume 8.3 liter that churns out mammoth 780hp and a torque of 920 Nm. Second version will run on bio-ethanol, generating an outstanding 840hp.
Its gearbox will come with three options – Automatic, sequential (same but with shifting petals on the steering column) and mechanical. Its brakes are carbon-ceramic discs from AP, has electronically controlled suspension and ground clearance is regulated in the range of 8 inches.
Chassis of Spano is made while using carbon fiber, Kevlar and titanium and the weight of the monocoque is merely 56kg whereas its total mass is 1350kg. With the mammoth power, the car races from 0-100km/h in just 2.9 seconds with its top speed at 350km/h.
The other features of Spano include a customizable LCD screen dashboard, Multimedia system with a connector for iPod and Bluetooth, navigation system and many more. Spano is a limited edition as only 99 editions will made and will be priced at bout $ 670000 per unit.
