Mercedes-Benz has a great fanfare and people across the world love to own one. As it is quite understandable that even a staunch lover couldn’t possess all its models, but he can enjoy the thrill of its chronology and seeing 160 (almost all) of its models in a single building. Yes, Mercedes-Benz museum in Stuttgart, Germany, caters pretty well to all those fans and lovers who are interested in its long history (starting from since 1886); since its inception to the present day.



The museum that is only of its genre in the world, documents a single continuous timeline of over 120 years of Mercedes-Benz’s auto industry history. It has 160 vehicles and over 1,500 exhibits on nine different levels, covering a floor space of 16,500. The museum not only presents the fascinating history of the Mercedes-Benz brand, but also illuminates insights into the future.


The museum is designed by the UN Studio of Dutch architects van Berkel and Bos, Amsterdam, and the inspiration for the building’s interior styling comes from double helix structure of the DNA spiral that carries the human genome.
