In the times of emergency, limited time is the most important factor - in or on water. And in order to perform the water rescue operation, fast and versatile vehicle is the essential prerequisite. As a result, this Wing-In-Ground effect vehicles is designed to work at a higher speed than conventional rescue boats to save time and life.
Well, this above pictured object is nothing less than the hawk on the water surface. Dubbed as Skarver ((Wing in Ground effect vehicle), it runs on water surface but can be lifted off fully at the speed of 80 km/h. It has the maximum speed of 120 km/h but fuel consumption is considerably less then to conventional high speed-boats. Skarver has ROTAX 914UL (85 kW) engine and its length, width and basic weight is 4.20m, 4.80m and 290kg respectively.
