With the possible advent of zero-emission and zero-pollution zones in the future, Jaguar has girdled up its loin to meet the situation. Yes, coming up to the occasion, and to even have its appearance noticed in a future world where all vehicle other than running on batteries will be banned, Jaguar has introduced an all-electric version of the new Jaguar XJ.

A self-charging electric car, the Jaguar XJ will be having sufficient zero-emissions range in future. Also, the electric Jaguar XJ will get power from a 145kW electric motor with 295lb ft torque that will be fueled by a lithium ion battery, generating up to 194 horsepower.

The batteries are mated to a 1.2L 3-cylinder engine designed by Lotus. The drivetrain claims to offer 600 miles with a combined fuel-economy of 57 mpg, sub-120g/km of CO2, and a top speed of 112mph.
