Results of this year’s LA Design Challenge have come out in the open, and it’s the Nissan V2G that has taken the crown. The concept envisions a high-tech future for our roads and highways. Vehicles can get access to these high-speed grids by means similar to present day mobile phone plans. The concept is intended to be a high-speed, high-efficiency, low cost electric vehicle that will move the cities of 2030.

The tech savvy drivers of the future may even decide to take the cars off the grid, and “explore the endless opportunities the vehicle provides.” The V2G concept had tough competition from the likes of Audi eSpira and Mazda Souga, though the competition also had a ridiculously dreamy/ childish entry in the form of GM Car Hero.
