Back in July, Local Motors had announced that the Rally Fighter concept would see the light of the day. Primarily the work of designer Sangho Kim, the Rally Fighter has received touches from numerous designers; as many as 2000 are said to have worked on the design.

Created with the American Southwest in mind, the concept will be powered by a BMW sourced clean-diesel engine capable of providing 265hp and 425lb-ft of torque. Built as a Baja-styled off-roader, the Rally Fighter weighs nearly 3000 lbs.

The car has a dual ride-height system, which puts down both its 18-inch front suspension and 20-inch rear suspension lower by eight inches. This system allows the car to be a rally car as well as one that could be used for the daily commute. To make an official debut at SEMA, the car will sell for $50000.
