81 year old Jim O’Hara, a retired college professor, made 2/3 scale P-38 fighter replica and successfully completed its maiden cross-country trip with his wife. Jim O’Hara learned to fly around 21 years ago and after six years, he started building replica of World War II Fighter with his wife.
He accumulated information from various sources about the P-38 and executed them rightly with the computer aided design program.
For his amazing adventure he took his wife with him and designed special small jump seat behind the pilot.
