The Cheetah got to race the roads with designing by Don Edmunds and marketing by Bill Thomas. The car’s unique design could have seen it go a long way, but in 1965, a fire at the factory assembling the car put its production to an end. That after just 23 Cheetahs had been built. Well, the predator is ready to prowl the streets again, and Arizona based Cheetah Continuation Turnkey Collectibles is ready to build a series of continuation Cheetah cars.

The company has authorization from Bill Thomas to rebuild the classic Cheetah. Power for the new car will come from a 350 cubic-inch Chevy V8 mated to a Muncie M-20 four-speed transmission. The car will have a hand-laid fiberglass body, space frame chassis and fully independent suspension. Prices will begin at $88,500.
