Toyota's popular RAV4 is due for a refresh, and that's exactly what it is will get this fall. The 2016 update brings the first-ever RAV4 hybrid, which debuted at the New York auto show, as well the new SE model seen here.
-Toyota clearly believes that a sporty and exciting vehicle like the 2016 RAV4 SE deserves a sporty and exciting paint color: orange. (When's the last time you saw an orange RAV4?) The SE-fication of the RAV4 SE also involves black exterior accents, black-painted 18-inch wheels, a mesh grille, and LED exterior lights, while the interior adds paddle shifters for the transmission, SofTex seat upholstery, and unique stitching. The SE also rides on "sport-tuned" shocks and springs.

Toyota says that, other than the aforementioned exterior bits, the SE looks exactly like the other 2016 RAV4 models, all of which will get upgraded instruments, more soft-touch interior materials, a surround-view park assistance feature, and more noise insulation. We will tell and show you more when we get the full product information from Toyota, hopefully in the coming weeks.
