Like the fixed-top 2-series coupe, it will also be available as a 228i with a turbocharged four. The droptop 2-series will aim to be a more dynamically focused car than its big brother, the 4-series convertible, and like its 1-series convertible predecessor, it will have a fabric roof. Unfortunately, the 2-series convertible will also be a relatively heavy car, so it needs all the power it can get.
