May 1 marked the 20th anniversary of F1 champion Ayrton Senna's premature death at the San Marino Grand Prix at Imola, and McLaren joined the chorus of tributes with a powerful video of its own. The clip celebrates what it says is Senna's—and F1′s—greatest achievement: an epic qualifying lap for the 1988 Monaco Grand Prix. Senna somehow eclipsed the second-quickest driver, his McLaren teammate (and longtime rival) Alain Prost, by an absurd 1.427 seconds.
