The State Fair of Texas is a favorite location for pickup-truck manufacturers to hawk their latest and greatest products. This year, Toyota showed off its reworked 2014 Tundra, and two of the Detroit's Big Three showed up with new metal. Hot on the heels of Chevrolet's debut of its updated-for-2015 Silverado 2500 and 3500 heavy-duty trucks comes the updated heavy-duty Ford F-series line you see here. (And you thought the fair was just for livestock and cowboys.) While not as thoroughly reworked as the latest GM trucks, the F-series Super Duty's optional diesel V-8 gets power-boosting tweaks, the near-commercial-grade F-450 gets a stronger frame, and the cowboy-luxury King Ranch model has been given a mild makeover.
